End of Year Party

The end of year party will be Tuesday October 30th.

STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!

Another outstanding defensive performance by the Warriors and Sarah Henderson puts one in the net in the 72nd minute and the Warriors take the 3A State Championship.

Snow Canyon 1 Wasatch 0

Another defensive gem by the Warriors in the state semi-finals launch them into the 3A State Finals for the first time school history. Defensively playing awesome were Autumn Shipp, Jadyn Losee, Janel Prince, Macey Gates and Lauren Smith. Offensively the Warriors controlled play and kept the ball on Wasatch's half 70% of the game. Grace Walton records her 11th shutout of the year in goal. The girls went back to the hotel while the coaches watched the next semifinal game to scout the teams and see who we would be playing. 

Next up for the Warriors Park City at Rio Tinto Stadium for the 3A State Championship game at 1:30PM Saturday October 20th 2012.

Snow Canyon 1 Juan Diego 0

Sarah Henderson puts in the only goal on a free kick with 17 minutes left in the game a Snow Canyon defeats Juan Diego 1 to 0. Grace Walton is in the goal for the shutout and another superb defensive performance by the Warriors. Next up is the semi-finals vs Wasatch on Friday 10/19 at 11:00 AM

Snow Canyon 3 Stansbury 0

Callie Stewart, Meghan McKenna and Tirsa Snyder score with assists by Meghan McKenna and Sarah Henderson. Grace Walton is in the goal and the defense of Janel Prince, Macey Gates, Lauren Smith, Kyleigh Wittwer and back after not playing for three games, Jadyn Losse and Autumn Shipp. Next up for the Warriors Juan Diego in the state quarter-finals on Saturday 10/13 at 1:00PM.

Snow Canyon 0 Hurricane 0

The Warriors play well but can't get one in the net. Another excellent performance defensively. Next up Stansbury at Snow Canyon Wednesday October 10th at 4:00PM.

REGION CHAMPIONS!!!

Snow Canyon beats Desert Hills 3 - 0 and locks up the Region 9 championship. Tirsa Snyder has a hat trick and is assisted on he goals by Meghan McKenna(2) and Cami Bergen. In the goal for the shutout was Grace Walton. The defense steps up once again assisting Grace in the shutout. Next up for SC a friendly non-region match on Friday 9/28 at 7:30PM against Faith Lutheran High School.

Kaylee Brooks blasted in the winning goal off a Tirsa Snyder assist as Snow Canyon beats Cedar City 1 to 0. In the goal for the Warriors for the Shutout Grace Walton.

Snow Canyon 2 Canyon View 0

Callie Stewart scores off an assist from Cami Bergen to put the Warriors up 1 to 0 at the half. In the second half Sarah Henderson scored as she drilled the ball into the net off a Kaylee Brooks assist. The defense once again plays awesome and Grace Walton is in the goal for the shutout.

Snow Canyon 2 Pine View 1

Meghan McKenna scores early in the match and  Callie Stewart broke through the Pine View defense in the second half to score the game winner and help Snow Canyon pick up the region win. Callie also had an assist. This put the Warriors at 6 - 1 for region and 9 -1 overall. 
Next up for the Warriors Canyon View on Tuesday 9/18 at home.

Snow Canyon 4 Hurricane 0

Callie Stewart tipped in a hat trick and Kyleigh Wittwer snuck in the last goal, while Grace Walton preserved the shutout for Snow Canyon. Assists came from Cami Bergen, Kyleigh Wittwer, Meghan McKenna and Sarah Henderson. The Defense of Autumn Shipp, Jadyn Losee, Janel Prince, Macey Gates and Lauren Smith had an awesome game. Grace Walton picks up the shutout. 

Next up for the Warriors Pine View at Pine View on Thursday.

Snow Canyon 3 Dixie 2

Lauren Smith, Kyleigh Wittwer and Kaylee Brooks all scored second half goals to lead Snow Canyon to the region victory as it improved to 7-1 on the season.

No Practice on Labor Day

Tirsa Snyder scored with 1:20 left in the game to secure the win for the Warriors. Grace Walton gets the shutout.

Cedar 1 Snow Canyon 0

With Snow Canyon camped in front of Cedars goal most of the game they can't get one to fall and Cedar comes away with the win.

Snow Canyon broke the tie in the second half as Kyleigh Wittwer, Sarah Henderson and Meghan McKenna all played strong games.

Snow Canyon 3 Pine View 0

Grace Walton was solid in goal during the Warriors' first region game of the season, keeping the Panthers at bay and keeping the Snow Canyon record spotless. Goals were scored by Meghan McKenna, Cami Bergan and Sarah Henderson.

Snow Canyon 2 East 0

Callie Stewart scores two second half goals as Snow Canyon comes back from a 1 - 0 first half deficit to beat East in preseason play.

Snow Canyon 5 Springville 1

Snow Canyon beat Sprinville 5 to 1. The first goal came in the first minute of the game as Callie Stewart found Meghan McKenna for an early score. Then Just 26 seconds later Callie found Maddie Berger for the score. In the second half Sarah Henderson scored off a free kick and then added another goal 12 minutes later off  Callies corner kick. The final goal of the game came when Kaylee Brook sent a through ball to Tirsa Snyder who promptly put the ball in the back of the net. The defense played awesome limiting Springville to just 6 shots. Snow Canyon had 23 shots. Next up for the Warriors East High School on Friday  August 17th, JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30pm.

Snow Canyon 5 Copper Hills 1

Meghan Mckenna and Cami Bergen scored two goals each and Callie Stewart scored on a header off of a Maddie Berger cross as Snow Canyon beat Copper hills 5 to 1. Also with assists were Callie Stewart and Sarah Henderson. Next up for the Warriors Springville tomorrow 8/10/2012 at 7:00pm
