Grace and Kira receive academic all-state honors at Rio Tinto

State Semi-Final Game

Bonneville scored first early in the second half. Then Tylei Jensen had the equalizer for the Warriors. After regulation the game remained tied. In two overtime periods the Warriors created more opportunities but couldn't put one in. The game then went to a shootout. Megan Rodgers blocked one shot and nearly had a second but the ball hit the post and bounced in. Through the first five pk's it remained tied. The Warriors ended up losing in pk's 5 to 4. A hard end to a great season.

Snow Canyon defeats Logan 4 to 2 in a shootout

Snow Canyon defeats Logan 4 to 2 in a shootout. Megan Rodgers blocked two in the shootout and Kira Boettcher, Ashley Brindley , Arantxa Melendez and Jacie Mooring put their shots in. The Warriors will face Bonneville in the Semifinals next Friday.

Heidi Smith scored off a Megan Rodgers assist as the Warriors defeat Juan Diego 1 to 0.
The Warriors will play Logan on Saturday 10/14 at 1:00 pm at Warrior field.

SC Warriors Region 9 Soccer Champions

Snow Canyon 7 Hurricane 3

Ashley Brindley had three goals, Sarah Evans had two goals and Brielle Hoskins and Arantxa Melendez each had a goal. Kira Boettcher had three assist and Arantxa Melendez had an assist for the Warriors. With the win the Warriors become region champions.
