4A SOCCER STATE CHAMPIONS!
The Warriors defeated the Orem Tigers 1 to 0 in the 4A State Championship game. With Megan Rodgers in the goal the Warrior defense of Bubba Lindsey, Amanda Bradshaw, Sekada Burchinal, Jaicleyn Losee, Grace Fisher and Daisy Hurt held the Tigers scoreless to set up the overtime victory. Five minutes into the first overtime Rachel Durante sped past the defender down the sideline and crossed the ball perfectly in front of the goal where it was promptly placed in the back of the net by Heidi Smith.
The Warriors would like to thank all the fans, family, friends and former players who came to support the girls.

Snow Canyon 2 Logan 1
In the state semifinals Snow Canyon fights back from a 1 to deficit to win 2 to 1 and earn a spot in the state championship game. Ashley Brindley scored off a Heidi Smith assist with 56 seconds left in the first half to tie the game 1 to 1 going into the half. In the second half with a little over 8 minutes remaining in the game, Tylei Jensen scored off a Kenzee Brough corner kick for the winning goal. Snow Canyon will take on Orem in the state final game.

Snow Canyon 2 Ogden 0
The Warriors defeat Ogden is the state quarter finals 2 to 0. The defense of Bubba Lindsey, Sekada Burchinal, Amanda Bradshaw, Jaicleyn Losee, Grace Fisher and Daisy Hurt with Megan Rogers in the goal held Ogden scoreless. In the second half Heidi Smith broke through the defense and was about to score when she was taken down from behind. Adi Melendez put in the PK and the Warriors took a 1 to 0 lead. Then Tylei Jensen made a beautiful cross that Heidi Smith headed in. It was another team effort from front to back as the Warriors advance to the state semifinals.

Snow Canyon 2 Ridgeline 1
Snow Canyon wins its first state game defeating Ridgeline 2 to 1. Heidi Smith scored both goals for the Warriors and was assisted by Sekada Burchinal and Tylei Jensen. The defense consisting of Samantha "Bubba" Lindsey, Sekada Burchinal, Jaicleyn Losee, Amanda Bradshaw, Daisy Hurt and Grace Fisher limited Ridgeline to just 7 shots. Megan Rodgers was in the goal and had 5 saves. It was a total team effort from front to back. Good job Warriors.

Ashley Brindley had 2 goals and Kenzee Brough, Rachel Bunting and Tylei Jensen each had a goal in the Warriors 6 to 0 win over Cedar. One of the goals was an own goal.
