Snow Canyon wins their state quarter final game beating Canyon View 2 to 1. Goals were scored by Brielle Hoskins and Mackenzee Brough. Assists by Jaycie Mooring and Ashley Brindley. Next up for the Warriors Juan Diego at Jordan High School 6PM Friday 10/21

Snow Canyon 3 Morgan 1

Snow Canyon wins their first state game 3 to 1 against Morgan.  Goals were scored by Ashley Brindley who was assisted by Megan Weston, Megan Weston assisted by Samantha "Bubba" Lindsey and Brielle Hoskins assisted by Adi Melendez. Megan Rodgers was in the goal. There were also assists by all the other players as well as our wonderful fans! Next up the state quarterfinals against Canyon View on Saturday 10/15 at 1:00 PM.

Snow Canyon vs Morgan

In the opening round of the state tournament Snow Canyon will take on Morgan. 4:00PM Wednesday October 12.

Heidi Smith scored first off of an assist by Ashley Brindley. Cedar then tied the game ten minutes later. The Warriors retook the lead as Serena Lindsey scored on a free kick. In the second half Cedar had two unanswered goals as things tighten up in the Region Nine race.. The Warriors will be at Desert Hills on Tuesday October 4th.

Snow Canyon 2 Hurricane 1

Ellie Christensen scored off an assist by Heidi Smith in the first half and Jaycie Mooring scored off an assist by Adi Melendez as the Warriors increase their lead in region 9. Next up Cedar at Cedar on Thursday 9/29.

Snow Canyon 2 Pine View 0

In a night that saw JV cancelled because of severe thunder storms moving through the area the clouds parted(kind of) and Varsity was able to play. Heidi Smith scores off an assist by Ashley Brindley in the first half then Ashley Brindley scores off a Megan Weston assist as the Warriors come away with a 2 to 0 win over the Panthers. The Warrior defense helped Megan Rodgers earn a shutout in the goal. The Warriors have Hurricane at home on Tuesday 9/27.

Snow Canyon 2 Dixie 1

Snow Canyon beats Dixie 2 to 1. Brielle Hoskins scores as she heads in an Adi Melendes corner kick. The second score came as a Heidi Smith put the ball into the net. The defense played great as the Warriors came away with their first win at Dixie since 2012. SC also won their JV and C team games for a clean sweep. Next up for the Warriors Pine View at Pine View on Thursday 9/22.

Snow Canyon 5 Hurricane 1

Heidi Smith had a pair of goals and Adi Melendez, Megan Weston and Maddie Ence all added goals as the Warriors defeat Hurricane 5 to 1. Assists were made on the goals by Serena Lindsey, Jacquel Bozarth, Heidi Smith and Sekada Burchinal. Megan Rodgers was in the goal for the Warriors. The defense had another good showing.

Cedar 2 Snow Canyon 1

Ashley Brindley scored the Warriors only goal in their first region loss. She was assisted by Heidi Smith. 
Next up Hurricane at Hurricane: Thursday 9/15 JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30.

Snow Canyon 2 Desert Hills 1

Desert Hills scored first then Heidi Smith had the equalizer for the Warriors early in the second half off a Samantha "Bubba" Lindsey assist. The teams remained tied in regulation. In the first overtime period Desert Hills had an excellent opportunity for the win but it was thwarted by an amazing save by Megan Rodgers. In the 9th minute of the first OT period Ashley Brindley had an assist on a second Heidi Smith goal to give the Warriors the OT victory. It was a great effort by all, forwards, midfield, defense the bench and the fans.  The Warriors have Cedar City at home on Tuesday. Varsity at 7:30

Snow Canyon 3 Pine View 1

In their first region game the Warriors defeat Pine View 3 to 1. Goals were scored by Heidi Smith, Mackenzee Brough and Serena Lindsey. Heidi and Mackenzee's goals were both assisted by Ashley Brindley. 
Next up for the Warriors Desert Hill on Thursday. C team at 4:00, JV at 5:00 and Varsity at 7:30PM

Snow Canyon scores 2 in the first half and then comes out strong in the second half scoring 7 goals in 28 minutes to end the game early. The Warrior defense was strong. Heidi Smith had a hat trick and an assist for the Warriors.

First Bus Trip

Snow Canyon 2 Aztecs 0

Megan Rodgers and Preslee Gates share the shutout as the Warriors defeat the Aztecs 2 to 0. Addie Melendez scored the first goal in the 15th minute off a Heidi Smith assist. Ellie Christensen scored a second half goal for the Warriors. The defense held strong and the Warriors possessed the ball well. 
The next two games are on the road as the Warriors travel northward to play at Syracuse on Friday the 19th Varsity at 3:30 and JV at 5:30. Then on Saturday the 20th Mountain View at Mountain View. Varsity at 10:00am and JV at 12:00pm.

Davis 4 Snow Canyon 0.

The Warriors drop one to Davis 4 to 0. Next up the Aztecs of New Mexico on Friday 8/12 at 7:30 PM.
