Announcement Made Before the Game. Cancer Awareness

Ladies and gentlemen,  thanks to donations from Mega Pro and Tuachan, tonight our Lady Warriors take the field clad in special pink uniforms to honor, recognize and support all members of the Warrior Nation that have been afflicted with cancer, or whose lives in any way have been touched by this disease.  Several members of this year’s team have family members, friends or loved ones who are battling cancer.  Recognizing the terrible impact this modern day plague has had on so many, tonight we stand in solidarity with all who have had their lives irreversibly impacted by cancer, and we express our unending love and support for any who are or have ever battled this disease.  The Warriors invite all present to stand in a show of support, and encourage all to remember those afflicted, love and support those in the fight, and to support cancer-fighting causes in any way you can.  Thank you.

Snow Canyon 6 Pine View 1

The Warriors start off with 3 goals in the first 21 minutes of the game and never look back as they defeat Pine View 6 to 1. Goal scoring went as follows:

Once again the defense of Alex Deming, Grace Fisher, Emma Bingham, Taylan Whitehead and Ashlee Nyberg stepped up. Megan Rodgers was in the goal and had 3 saves in the win.

Snow Canyon 0 Desert Hills 0

The Warriors play to a draw in region play.

Snow Canyon 6 Canyon View 1

The Warriors beat Canyon View 6 to 1 in region play. Taylan Whitehead scored the first goal for the Warriors followed by four goals from Heidi Smith and an own goal off a hard cross sent in by Breanna Graves. Tylei Jensen and Jadyn Reber had assists. It was a good team effort as all played well from defense to offense. Ruth Sumner was in the goal for the win.

Sara Hart scored the goal with an assist from Tylei Jensen.

Snow Canyon 3 Cedar 0

The Warriors pick up a 3 to 0 win over Cedar in region play. Grace Fisher scored first for the Warriors and then Heidi Smith added two goals. Heidi's goals were assisted by Breanna Graves and Jadyn Reber. Megan Rodgers was in the goal for the shutout. From the defense through the offense everyone played well.

Snow Canyon 1 Pine View 0

In a game that was delayed by lightning the Warriors defeat the Panthers. In the first half SC was playing into the wind and able to get to half tied 0 to ). In the second half Rachel Durante sent a ball through to Heidi Smith and Heidi put it in the net. Megan Rodger was in the goal for the shutout.

Homecoming Parade

Snow Canyon 5 Dixie 0

The Warriors beat Dixie 5 to 0 with an all around good effort by the team. Megan Rodgers was in the goal for the shutout. The defense allowed very few opportunities for the Flyers. Goal scorers for Snow Canyon were:
