Announcement Made Before the Game. Cancer Awareness

Ladies and gentlemen,  thanks to donations from Mega Pro and Tuachan, tonight our Lady Warriors take the field clad in special pink uniforms to honor, recognize and support all members of the Warrior Nation that have been afflicted with cancer, or whose lives in any way have been touched by this disease.  Several members of this year’s team have family members, friends or loved ones who are battling cancer.  Recognizing the terrible impact this modern day plague has had on so many, tonight we stand in solidarity with all who have had their lives irreversibly impacted by cancer, and we express our unending love and support for any who are or have ever battled this disease.  The Warriors invite all present to stand in a show of support, and encourage all to remember those afflicted, love and support those in the fight, and to support cancer-fighting causes in any way you can.  Thank you.
